Most people have a picnic evening meal during the event, so you may well like to bring some food. A bottle or two of your favourite tipple goes down well. (Frankly, disposing of the huge quantity of empty bottles and cans after the event can be a little embarrassing.) July weather in England should be good, but can be a little unpredictable. Whatever happens it gets quite a lot cooler after the sun goes down, so bring a jumper or jacket in case you get chilly. in 2008 it was unusually cool and jackets were definitely needed. If it looks like it could shower you might want to bring an umbrella or waterproof - just in case. In 2009 we are putting the stage in a different area of the Recreation Ground and, like last year, we hope to move everybody a little closer, to give a better view and sound to people in the gazebos at the rear.
